If it had AA support I'd be able to switch between it and Google Maps. Guess I still could if I'm just running the regular android apps.

I wasn't until you gave me the idea lol
Maybe throw the turn by turn up on my phone when I need it. Not sure though, the goal is to make it feel like a helicopter cockpit. All the info I could want available at a glance while staying unobtrusive. Having a 7-8 inch screen running android auto is almost perfect, except all the different map apps fall a little bit short.
