I honestly can't describe how excited I am
What kind of specs will it have
My take since displacement wise is around the same as the new Supersport class the engine itself may produce 130hp now with the added electric supercharger can add way more but since electric turbos are no good for long periods of working I believe this bike would temporarily add boost making close to 200hp but only after some required speed like 100 mph since a 130hp motorcycle can match a 1000cc acceleration until 100 mph after that the turbo kicks in and a very powerful acceleration from 100 to 160
A super naked will be using this engine weighting around 200kg while a non turbo version will be used for a Supersport model since Honda still doesn't have one weighting 185 kg
Thoughts?

If it's low compression like an H2 it'll be a great starter for tuning. If it's high compression low boost like a ZH2 then it'll be an expensive pain to get lots more power out of.

when was the last time Honda put a performance oriented engine into soemthing that wasnt a CBR? Even Yamaha only makes 115HP out of their triple.

Literally has one of the highest power middle weight bikes such as cb 750 one of the few 600 Supersport, just launched a 10k liter naked bike , and their top spec inline 4 still impressive numbers.
My opinion on the v3 is that will fill the gap 100/140hp because Honda doesn't have any , the beauty of the e charger is the power range , if there's 20 levels of traction control why not 20 levels of power ranges, sure it takes a lot of juice and obviously it can't be used all the time,but the Honda ISG's manages to produce 1.4kw and weighs half a kilo so making it producing 3/4kw it's not an impossibility adding lithium battery maybe using 24v system for a lighter system
There's a lot of possibilities here and definitely Honda will not be conservative with this one

It is VERY different than the V4 which by the way you bumbling retard the only VFR worth mentioning is the NON-VTEC ones (hence mention of Gear Driven cams)

A v4 is just an inline 4 but in da V shape! There are 2 pistons balancing the other 2 during its operation. It's a square box within the frame. A V3 is first of all Asymetric meaning you will never achieve natrual balance during the operation of the engine, secondly they're gonna turbo the V3 so imagine the pure insanity of timing 3 clyinders, forced induction, and communicate to the already complicated computer side of things.

It's just a fucking gimmick, only benefit I could even see for a rider is the bike itself will be more narrow where the rider sits which V4 bikes are plauged with simply due to the previously mentioned square box shape that those engines naturally have.

Like all honda is doing here is making a cheaper bike that won't last as long to save overhead manufacturering costs. It's cheaper to throw a tiny outsourced turbo on a engine that you make 1 less clyinder for.

Brand new im sure it'll be fun, but when the reality kicks in and it's time to do big boy bike stuff and service it that's where it will all go to shit. Imagine if they have that stupid DCT transmission in it on top of the other bullshit.
