Hello /out/!

Have any of you taken any outdoor courses of any discipline? I would be really interested in taking something that would be beneficial to outings like they experience on Alone, purely out of interest and curiosity. I'm a 30+ burger so I feel like I'm kinda too old for NOLS but any experiences you guys have would be interesting.

Ran into a guy that did this, he had a lot of great things to say about it

Technically according to the definition, the second you stop drinking water you are dehydrated because you're losing water through respiration and no longer taking in water.

And the reason I say underhydrated is more appropriate is that dehydrated, although only means losing more water than you take in, suggests to most people that it's to the point of a medical issue because why else would you mention it except as a doctor in a medical setting?
