But, things are going well, crayfish traps are atleast 1-2 kilos when I can be bothered setting them, going to the ocean next weekend to get some shore crabs. Mostly spring/summer for me is preparing for autumn/winter

Did have quite a battle with months from some gear i had scavanged/thrifted, i live quite spartan, so it was pretty heavy that they came from some old karrimor bike panniers

It's all fun and games until the bugs arrive, atleast now I am more aware of precautions so they don't eat all my clothes, especially since pure wool is a favourite

A road trip in my buddies Toyota 2006 van has also planned for the west coast of Denmark, nuclear bunkers, birds, beaches, just fun stuff

things have been fine, this board is very slow now though. I still lurk but haven't been overly active. I live in the city (outskirts at least) now and although my house backs to a national park (albeit a rather suburban one) I don't get much opportunity for real adventure anymore. Living in the country was easier, now I have to drive like a day to get to real seclusion and I'm too busy at work all the time.

It's winter here now btw, which is amazing because the summer heat is shit in Sydney

I've become so lazy, I haven't done a proper recording in a couple years. I live right at the edge of a national park and found the best recording spot, but it would require me to get up and hike out an hour or so and be setup all before dawn so I can catch the kookaburras, and with work and precious little time on weekends I just haven't gone out and done it. Now it's winter and the microphones won't behave that early in the morning when it' cold and humid

Strangely, these days, cases of menu A or B 12 meals cases are available where I am in yurop at about 10 eurodollars per MRE (french rations cost 10 to 12 but they have two mains)

Well, I've been here for 6 years or so.The board is getting slower each month it seems, and half the threads are just plain shit. I think less people go /out/ than before, if thats really posible.
Anyway, I keep posting on recent outings and other nice threads. This board is kinda nice when the good threads thrive.
Miss some old threads tho, I remember the time where people were posting the /out/ bear patch on a summit or in the middle of the everglades. And the classic /out/ memes are kinda dead
