Is the best state

Yeah it's amazing how Colorado has absolutely zero subtropical areas.
Anonymous No.2820396 [Report] >>2820450 >>2821004
It's just a shitty desert with a few patches of Doug Fir here and there, impassable cliffs, private hunting preserves on gated roads that Google maps told you was public land, pretty much the shittiest place in the country.
Anonymous No.2820412 [Report]
yeah, it's awesome, way better than California or Washington. Move to Colorado, coast fag.
Anonymous No.2820413 [Report] >>2820451
I prefer the state of Appalachia.

Colorado locals have a saying:
>Come to vacation, stay on probation.
A lot of dudeweedbro idiots taking THC on to federally managed land and getting their buns popped. Which brings up another point, any outdoor recreation areas are infested with instagram snowbunnies or destitute car camping homeless. The five military bases around the Springs area make this experience especially bad because you could be enjoying a nice trail and then all of a sudden a fucking fighter jet almost blows out your eardrums.

The only thing that CO really has going for it are some of the more central ranges that include peaks like Mt. Elbert because it's of significant distance away from city fags. Anything south or west of that is high desert don't let this librul state university map fool you.

Not to mention that the entire front range is just fucking Mexico 2 now.
I traversed the country easy to west and never had to ask for a key to get into the bathroom until I went there.

I too thought this until I went to the west coast. I'd even take northern Idaho, Western Wyoming or Western Montana over Colorado really.

i'm not that anon but he's right, any other rocky mountain state has what CO has, but better:
>Mountains
prettier and less crowded in WY and MT
>Desert
Better in UT and NM
>Forest
less diseased in WY
>Cities with good outdoor access
fewer dipshits in MT and ID
>hunting
holy fuck, do NOT come to CO
Anonymous No.2822422 [Report] >>2822464

forgot to add,
>Skiing
way better in UT and WY

yeah well true outdoorsmen measure shit by hours spent outdoors not seasonal vacations

CO/the rest of the southwest is unique in the fact that you can do winter activities and access mild winter climate by simply reducing your elevation, and in the summer you can simply escape the heat by going up in elevation. You are always within driving distance of a place experiencing perfect seasonality. 365 days per year.

I get more hours of outside and sunshine in Colorado than I do just about anywhere else, without dying of heatstroke

A place like Montana, sure, you have a two or three month window where it's superior, but not year-round.

lol. what a pussy.

>-40
Look, I like cold with the best of them, I ride my bicycle in -10 without hesitation.

But you're just fucking stupid. Montana only beats Colorado 25% of the time, at best. You're not getting the same variety, it's the "great north" type of wilderness where Montana shines. But it's just one thing. For a short period of time.

>-40
>the most extreme occurence that rarely happens
Look, I get that you are a pussy and your inability to enjoy an enviroment like Montana for 12 months a year is really a user error on your part.

But having said that, please, by ALL means...stay in CO.

Why Colorado and not Idaho? Most of Idaho is designated wilderness and has amazing mountains with forests, lakes, glaciers, and in the north there is even a rainforest. There's also a lot of desert if you're into that.

Best hunting and fishing in the lower 48 too.
