What's the point in "hunting" from helicopters? You're not even on the ground interacting with nature, it's like machine gunning some bird nest.

Many ground hunters dont "interact" with nature they just sit in a blind and wait for something to show up to shoot

In the case of the video though its because the goal isnt hunting, its to eradicate a very damaging invasive

Population control. Some species have no natural predators and will destroy the other local fauna if not kept in check, IE wild boar in the American south or wild goats in NZ. Also, if you don't wanna use a pig (M60 machine gun) to kill pigs, you must be some kinda gay communist faggot, and should hop on some TRT IMMEDIATELY to correct this.

hog hunters are usually doing it for money
hogs are an invasive nuisance animal and famers pay people to kill them

It's not hunting in the sense of traditional sport or subsistence hunting. Helicopter hunting is used almost exclusively to destroy boar, which are invasive, dangerous, and highly destructive. Boar shoots are a lot of fun, especially if you're getting paid to destroy them.

Hog hunting isn't sport, it's pest control. Wild hogs destroy crops, they attack people and animals, and they're an invasive species in North America with no natural predators.
