Many ground hunters dont "interact" with nature they just sit in a blind and wait for something to show up to shoot

Population control. Some species have no natural predators and will destroy the other local fauna if not kept in check, IE wild boar in the American south or wild goats in NZ. It's not hunting in the sense of traditional sport or subsistence hunting. Helicopter hunting is used almost exclusively to destroy boar, which are invasive, dangerous, and highly destructive. Boar shoots are a lot of fun, especially if you're getting paid to destroy them.

Hog hunting isn't sport, it's pest control. Wild hogs destroy crops, they attack people and animals, and they're an invasive species in North America with no natural predators.
