Europeans don't know how bad they have it. Europeans killed all their animals and destroyed all their nature, they have none left, since they are evil and heartless. So you have to forgive them for being excited about an invasive spider or a common bird because it's all they have. Most Europeans actively despise nature and hate all animals, so take what you can get. All the good people left Europe long ago to found America.

And honestly?

you need to understand americans, they are deeply insecure and narcissistic, they only get their sense of validation by tearing others down and pretending they are superior. they cannot fathom that someone may have it better than them and/or be better than america in some way. they are also so dedicated to this delusion that they are unaware of the rest of the world.
on this outing i saw wild mountain goats and birds of prey, along with the usual squirrels and small birds.
every outing i see something like this without trying, like a pine marten or hawk or buzzard or adder.

California alone has over 6,000 species of native vascular non-marine plants. Arizona and Oregon each both have more than 4,500 native vascular plants. These are actually relatively small states given their biodiversity.

I feel like this is fundamentally a bad metric, as you can see any large country has good biodiversity, while every medium or small country has low biodiversity - because they define biodiversity as unique animals living there.
No shit if I look only in texas there's less varieties of animals there than if I look in all of the US.

meh. about 15 million acres out of 640 million acres are supposedly landlocked. There are still millions and millions of acres of easily accessible public land. Of course, corner crossing is a thing and is being upheld by the courts so none of it is truly inaccessible. But nice try!! lmao
