Is there an inexpensive tent (~$200) that doesn't have a detachable rain fly?
I've done a lot of camping, and I have never once used a tent without a rainfly, even in the hot summer, the risk of passing rain, or a cold dip in the night has prevented me from being mesh only.
That being said, setting up a detachable rainfly has always been a PITA. It is never symmetrical, difficult to fold away, annoying to stretch over the tent, requires additional steps in securing it, etc.
Even popup tents still have it as a separate item.
I am looking for an inexpensive non canvas tent that has it built in.

Walmart or Big 5 is your friend for this.

Your tent is not this good. Yes, this tent is perfect and spacious. I only paid 189 for it and have no regrets

Why do you care about the rain fly being sown in? Do you like moisture and damp, cold feet? Check out the tent above, easy as hell to set up. Rain fly not a PITA. Hell, if you have a lot of wind and extra 2 minutes of staking it still isn't a burden

Don't know if you have decathlon in the states but I've had this one in the past

Rainfly is technically detachable but it comes with it attached and is designed to be folded down together with the mesh interior. I used it for around 2 years before the floor started tearing, could probably make it last longer with a ground sheet.

Literally any single-walled tent ever. I've got a 20€ mil-tec popup tent like that, for example (which is not a recommendation, btw - I never used that thing, as I got a good deal on a milsurp silnylon tarp a few days after I bought it).
