Having a decent weekend /out/ at a fest is a function of adequate gear. Nothing replaces a nice place to sleep when the acid wears off or a hot pot of coffee and plate of eggs the morningafternoon after. And I've had my mix of solutions for a long time but I want to put together a three tier list for the inexperienced.
Can someone find a useful infographic like /k's gearqueer editions?

mid tier budget do all solution:

I mean weight wouldn't be a huge issue at most small venues, I always get a car in.

>Throwaway rugs for the ground between tents/outside tent doors
>Large Popup Canopy tent to put your tents under with doors facing in
>Tarps/Flags/Camo Net/TieDye Tapestries with a bunch of pegs + nylon camping rope to drape out over your tent for shade and potential rain

Combine all to make your own semi private Bazaar type homeless weekend paradise

>BONUS POINTS
Go to your local hardware store and get a roll of clear construction plastic and bring soap/water guns to set up slip and slide (flag down the water truck when it goes by and theyll spray it for you if youre nice)

Use all to make your own private/

So why wouldnt you approach it like you would any other camping trip in terms of gear? You guys do go out beyond hippie festivals right?

I have a 3 and 12 day bag and gear. But my nice reclining camp chair isn't going hiking with me. Some stuff is appropriate where you only have to carry from parking to a spot.
I have just for this the 2 burner plus oven. because we can make some baked thing for a bunch of people cheaply.
For the luxury end, if I can find a hot tub of any variety for $400 and enough of a solar or whatever battery, it's on the list someday. Slip n slide would be a budget hit.

That's fine to lug 100 yards to camp, my site is as "permanent" as they get. I'd put that on a top end and a blow up pool on the bottom. Idk what's new and cool in easy-ups or similar for low and mid end, nothing stands out.
I'd wonder about an inflatable couch too. I've seen them last and work but that might be luck.
We don't do RVs, those are gay. We suck off men in tents like normal people.

I've literally worn trashbags and slept in a puddle at festivals.
All you need is enough drugs, and/or alcohol

Pretty much this, the sucks is a part of it. Just give it a shot with some basic gear. Chances your tent gets slashed the last day is pretty high anyway.

Look for a sun-proof tent , if you're in Europe Decathlon has like a 35โ‚ฌ tent which is far too heavy for anything else but perfect for festivals because you can sleep in.

I really really like the idea of elevated tents and they are making 6 person ones now.
