>>2822230 (OP)Huh this is really strange, this is the first time I heard somebody mention it being haunted. I had something weird happen to me over there too. I was camping with some friends on the east shoreline of the island (illegally I guess) a few years ago. It was around 12:30 at night and I figured I would go refill all of our water for the next morning before bed. Passing the campsites, there was still a few people passing by in their headlamps. The last people I passed before nearing the water spout was presumably a dad and his son stopped nearby the brick fence, they were talking and waiting around for his other kid that was coming by in his headlamp leaving the outhouse. I had just passed them when they were all together. They walked off and I thought nothing of it. If you've been there you know that the water spout is in the open field adjacent to the dock and the swedish museum place, about 40-60 feet of distance between the two. There was nobody there, and all I could hear was the waves nearby. I pulled out the jugs and plastic waterbottles my friends had gave me and knelt down and refilled each container. Just as I was about to start filling the last bottle I looked up and saw a clear silhouette of a person on the right outside corner of the museum . They didn't wear a headlamp, and the my light shining at them didn't reach far enough to make any detail. I froze up not scared but feeling like a cautious dog. I could see they were looking my way or maybe opposite. I continued to fill up my bottle completely locking my eyes on them thinking maybe the dad forgot his third kid or something. Walking along back, I kept looking behind me to see that they were still there the entire time until they were out of view. I never saw the dad and his two kids again. In hindsight now that you mention people say its haunted, maybe some dude brought a mannequin or something to spook people. Anyway anon it's a really nice place either way, dont let the spooky stuff stop you
