Fruit, Flowering or Shade. Care, Pruning, Propagation, Pests & Treatments.
I just Planted our 33rd fruit tree yesterday June 5. oldest one planted 5/2022. nothing producing yet, but when they start making... holy shit. it's all kinds: peach, apricot, persimmon, crab, apple, pear, keffir, plum. Sour cherry. we als have berry bushes: Elder, Black, Rasp, Gogi, Currant and probaly some others. we also keep bees.
in the non-fruit category, we have: Tulip poplar, hybrid poplar, hybrid willows, crepe myrtle, dogwood, redbud, Flowering pear, chocolate mimosa, rainbow mimosa & juniper.
all new, all planted by us since 2022. we have had several losses along the way. this is all new to us, learning as we go. we fought a biblical plague of locusts last year. they're back, but now we free-range guineas, ducks & chickens. I believe there is a noticeable difference already.
question/concern:
1. I'm seeing lots of my peach leaves are red/yellow-ish. is this a varietal thing? seems like a sun wind burn thing to me.
2. on several of my fruit trees, across species, I am seeing various versions of what I think is fungal inf. small black or brown dots all over the leaves. is neem oil and/or Sulphur the way to go on that?
(picrel is not me, but close enough)
