I own an 11 acre tract of land in southern Arkansas and wish to develop it with an off-grid homesite. how do I go about cheaply and legally dealing with waste, water, and power. ( EX: Composting toilet, DIY well ext... ). I also plant to move in a "tiny home" basically a 14 x 40 rebuilt cabin for $15,000. My local county says I don't need a permit but I don't believe that.

I am currently living out of my RV with a PO working a local plant so I got a bit to work with.

Nice to hear ( just hear stories time to time ) . Im sure I can get away with a lot of stuff as long as it isn't crazy. Im about a mile from my nearest neighbors and there nice folks to me as a matter of fact most of the community.

i believe arkansas state law says if you have 10+acres you can do what ever you want with septic but more local ordances apply. where i live alot of people just make a small pond and run it to septic tank to separate solids and send water to pond. it doesnt stink at all and people even put fish in them.
if you are going to do solar be sure to get a good high end charge controller/inverter. and make sure its bigger than you need because you will expand. i know a guy who uses interstate deep cycle batteries and they have seemed to outlast the lithium ones every one else got.
there really are no codes or permits in arkansas for the most part.
also buy this kit and build it. it is based and easy. we built one in 4 days, they even have youtube videos. lots of benifits to a steel building and the kit is cheaper than just buying the supplies at home depot.

also be sure to homestead your place for the super low property taxes

hey be careful with the locals, they arent your friends. they will be real real nice and then fuck you over. if you hire someone to do something be careful because lack of codes/inspections has made it nigger rig it central. if your an outsider to them be careful and they will tell you all about how christian they are as the fuck you over.

i just called the well driller and he said there were no permits or anything and drilled my well for $9k. i believe there is something in the law about distance between well and septic, but its like 50 feet apart or something. do you know how deep the water table is?

shine a flashlight down it and see if you can see water and the condition of the well bore. you can probably use that well if you can. get a 100' tape measure and wire a big bolt to it and lower it down the well. once you hit water keep lowering it until it stops to see how dèep the water is. this guy has a few videos on getting his old well running with a pump he bought off amazon. https://m.youtube.com/@LittleHouseOffGrid/videos
he is super annoying and makes tons of pointless videos but he had a good cheap setup going on for the cheap.
i talked to a guy the other day and his well was $22k to drill

you have a second amendment right and they need a warrant unless it's a game warden but game wardens usually need to be called as they usually have patrol hotspots they go to

the revenue man is way more important than the game warden in arkansas, he can for sure come onto your property. but he is an elected official and was super nice, he even sent me all the paperwork for me to file the homestead.
