Hi! I wanted to ask if anyone knows a way to do something like side quests in real life.
I really enjoy walking around my city, and whenever I help someone with directions—or just anything, really—it makes me feel really happy.
So, does anyone have any suggestions?
go to google maps
type in "scenic overlooks" in the mountains near you
drive to them

Everyday for them is like an rpg
>>2824627being homeless is the most boring thing ever
it might be fun if you knew where your next meal and shower were at, but you spend most of the day just trying to get some food and keep your nuts from molding

Work as a forest janny. My life is quests
>go on 3 day patrol
>3 parts to main quest
>day 1 get to a couple campsites and clean them and remove fire pits
>day 2 get to a section of flood damaged trail and repair it
>day 3 take a spur to check a water source and walk out
>also have general obligation to talk to every npc (visitors)
And then I get multiple sidequest oppurtunities each day
>boss on radio asks to go check a side canyon for evidence of somone tampering with an archeological site
>npc asks for help with their hurt npc friend back at their camp up a side trail
>npc asks for you to show the way through a treacherous section of trail
>hidden quest that only shows when you have explored and found the precise location on the map to record a possible new archeological site
>many npcs have dialogue quests where you satisfy their curiosity about the park or flora or fauna or your work etc or tell them the way to go
>on last day boss on radio says a party split up and the other half isnt back, they probably missed the turn at confusion junction again and you need to find them and walk them out
>have collectibles in the form of rare plants, wildlife, archeological sites, natural features
