I loved the outdoors back in my hometown because I could go out my front door, walk for like 5 minutes and I was in the wilderness. Now I live in a place that's surrounded by farmland and farms, I have to drive to get anywhere even remotely considered wilderness

I live in a trashy city and most of my 15min out is dusty meadows with dog poop, cigarette butts and stray shopping carts. I still love it because of the flowers, bugs, birds and those beavers that cause some mayhem.
