>most sparsely populated state in the United States
>Beautiful backcountry or outback
>Recreational weed is legal
>Locals are sick cunts and cool despite being majority religious
>Easy place to make friends and be social and find a potential partner in Missoula and Bozeman as with Melbourne and and Canberra

The only difference is that Montana has less dangerous fucked up animals and has gun rights

Montana has no cities by international standards. The largest metro area in MT has less than 200k people. Likewise, Wyoming's largest metro area has less than 101k people. Idaho is the odd one out with a metro area of roughly 950k. Montana is literally nothing like Australia; geographically, culturally, and linguistically. Montana has 2,925 mountain peaks higher than Australia's highest point, and MT is low ranking in the mountain west by peak counts.

Literally avoid water in the northern half of Australia and you're safe. The only people who get eaten are idiots who swim in murky crocodile infested waters. Bears are way scarier. >make friends and be social and find a potential partner in Missoula and Bozeman
You didn't live there.
t. recent Zootown refugee.

It was cool and hip and famously "weird" back before COVID. Then those Hollywood faggots went and made that Yellowstone show and attracted work-from-home tech faggots who want to show off the lvl. 43 Ranch-hand character they LARP as. Then the LARPers learned how tough it can be to live there and that you have to make a lot of your own fun, moved out, and turned their houses into AirBNBs. That's to say nothing of the failed yuppie diaspora from the west coast and big cities in the east, who want to turn the state into whatever gay shithole they moved from. Those "easy to talk to" girls almost certainly went home, opened their groupchat, and engaged in some weird manhating thing they do to self-promote. If you actually stayed and got to know them, you'd quickly understand what I mean.

That all said, the rest of the state is pretty great and the weed scene is insane. If you get the chance, go pick up some blue raspberryTHC gummies from Spark Dispensary and go to River City Roots in Missoula.

Arizona only has 27 venomous snake species of which only 14 are deadly. It also only have 34 species of scorpion of which only one is deadly. Arizona is 75-80% arid or semiarid and 20-25% is temperate (Canada climate). AZ is 25-28% forest with most of it temperate high elevation (over 1400m) forest. There are at least 8 different kinds of forest in AZ. Arizona's high desert is colder than the coldest places in Australia. AZ's low desert is hotter than the hottest places in Australia. Every single summer Arizona hits 50-52C in its low desert along the Colorado river, and every single winter it hits -30C (in 4 separate locations). This range is greater than the all time record high and low recorded in Australia in the last 150 years. Six separate macro regions in AZ receive more than 3.5m (140 in) of average winter snowfall, around 3 of these regions are a much larger land area that receives at least 1.27m (50 in), these regions total over 5,000 sq miles (12,950 sq km), an area larger than the Snowy Mountains.

Arizona has at least 210 geologically and geographically recognized mountain ranges, with a minimum of 7,515 peaks using the US mountaineering standard of 91m prominence, this is the 3rd highest in the USA. It is estimated that many dozens more unnamed peaks are not cataloged still. It is possible to drive 300 miles (480 km) one way in Arizona never dropping below 1830m (6,000 ft) elevation, even at this elevation AZ's highest peak still has another 1800m to go. Twelve of AZ's 15 counties has peaks with a minimum of 3,280 ft (1 km) of technical prominence, AZ's highest vertical relief peak has roughly 7,930 ft of vertical relief within 10 nm (18.5 km).

Arizona has consistently been in the top 3 US states for gun rights since 2011 (permitless in bars to), it also has the highest firearm industry manufacturing base per capita in the USA (and thus the world). AZ has 5/46 of the largest telescopes in the world.

Zootown fag here.

The out of state wannabe's and airBNB LARPers have greatly detracted from any scene that existed here in the past. Finding a suitable partner is nigh impossible, as all the women in Missoula proper are insufferable blue hair libs who WILL cheat on you with someone from the football team if you don't go to every single political protest with them.

Its become bad enough where I actively fuck with anyone I see with out of state plates. Cut them off in traffic, don't let them pass on the highway, give them abhorrent advice at outdoors stores when they ask, etc.
