The sheriff showed up, found us standing on a mountain of pigeon shit, asked us politely to leave and wrote me a ticket because we drove my vehicle. I showed up in court told the judge, "I didn't realize this was private property. There were some signs but they were hung on the fence facing the direction of the field, not the actual facility, which had its own fence and open gate." As retarded as that sounds he dropped the charges and said it was unlikely the owner sufficiently marked the boundaries of the property if I just drove my car in there, and told me to stay away from it.
