its not an obsession in this case, its more just expressing sympathy that the european will never walk through a true ancient primeval forest. its a spiritual and otherworldy experience, like travelling back in time thousands of years. you guys, innocently and obliviously, dont even know what an old growth forest is, and, innocently and obliviously, believe your replanted pine stands are the same as walking through a real forest.
