Is there a mosquito repellent that actually works?
I have literally lathered myself with this stuff and watched a skeeter land on it and poke me through a drop of cream that was on my hand.
It's impossible to enjoy campfires after dusk anymore

Dedicate a few sets of clothes for /out/ activities. Treat these clothes with permethrin. The treatment lasts for about a year and a half or 40 washes. Apply DEET based insect repellent to any exposed skin. I like the Off Smooth and dry.

For area mosquito control, Thermacells work very well but are a bit pricy.

I guarantee this works against mosquitoes even in the the highest bug population areas. Whether it's bad for your heath is another thing only because I would think the mainstream repellent companies would want to copy their formula since it works so well, but they don't.

DEET and Permethrin are the only things that work

Yeah but the retards on this board don't trust DEET because it gives them cancer or something
