Hiking and camping spiked during COVID. Then they kept going up
Wtf /out/, I thought normalfags would go back to their urban shitholes after the coof was over.

Yeah, we know. The /out/doors have been a mess since COVID. People still desperately cling to the claim that going off trail or going on a long trail solves this issue, but in the US, post-COVID, it just isnt true. National Parks are being overrun, local spots are being overrun, there is litter everywhere, and parking spaces are a joke. COVID was a fucking disaster for /out/. The lockdown convinced everybody that they were an outdoorsman and need to be outside 24/7.

At least zoomers don't really give a fuck. So in a few generations the problem with solve itself

Just go wander around on BLM land. Assuming you live in the west.

it feels so good knowing how easy it is to not run into those overcrowded husks

It’s objectively true. Everyone noticed that the front country was crowded while the back country remained isolated. Way to out yourself, faggot.

He’s right. You don’t live in the national park you mentioned.

Why is it I can go to a national park during peak season and barely see anyone but you faggots keep insisting the entirety of the woods is just crawling with people?

most people here just do the same things they accuse normalfags of doing (i.e. crowding trailheads and never going more than a mile down the trail)

In most places, the only time you might ever see anyone off-trail is during hunting season

Hiking and campground camping went up and had stayed up, but things like backpacking did have a crest of a wave. Lots of people tried it, went on a trip or two, and stopped

Ya cuz people realized that spending your entire life inside is a joke and want to get out more. If you are actually dedicated enough to do anything overnight and far enough away you'll be fine and not have to deal with them. You are outing yourself as lazy
>>2833196
You guys will really just say anything and attribute it to zoomers huh
Anonymous No.2833347 [Report] >>2833504

It didn't crest. When I worked at the 'pop last year inexperienced were still buying backpacking gear on a weekly basis. we took advantage of that

kek I hated my first trip too. didn't realize it'd be so physically grueling. then a couple weeks later I wanted to go again

Lmao fag You literally dont go /out/. I was in Acadia and Smoky Mountain National Park, the two most crowded parks in the US, and did hiking and fishing in near total seclusion. Try leaving the parking lot, better yet don't and leave the real nature to me

Vast majority of people here are larpers who don't go more than a mile from a paved road, at best they'll do a highly rated day hike they found on Alltrails. They didn't grow up going out and don't have friends or talk to people in real life so all the hikes and spots they find are ones that have been blown up online
