i found a giant statue once

was i high? i was pretty young when this happened so i don't remember everything

Once a sacred statue has been blessed, you can't just throw it in the rubbish heap. It becomes sacramental, so if it gets chipped and you don't want to display it any more, you have to "return it to the earth" by burning or burying it.
Makes sense to me that you'd find one in the ground, but a statue that tall is a bit odd...
