Can confirm these don't generate lift. Trying just makes you really, really dizzy.

I bet even the slightest gust of wind just kills your neck after a while.

It's a good idea for suspending the shade cover above the scalp.
I'm in Arizona and my boonie hat gets extremely hot from sin exposure. I wear a bandana under hat to give space between hat and head.
A freind of mine has been wearing a coolie Chinese big saucer hat for years.
Looks like a extra from a kungfu movie from the seventies. But he likes it, every day wear most of the year.

This is just a regular umbrella. There’s nothing special about it that allows it to be clipped to your shoulder strap.

This umbrella is a direct copy of the very old Golite Chrome Dome, which came out about 20 years ago. They’re literally the same thing. There are some other manufacturers that slap their name in them as well. Euroschirm is one that’s found on Amazon.

Clipping it in place works alright if it’s the middle of the day, but it’s not ideal if the sun is even just a little low. Wind isn’t as big of a problem as everyone claims but they can be knocked around if you’re not holding on.

Really great for rain. In most of the country it’s often too warm for a rain jacket most of the year (rain jackets as the penultimate go-to solution is a West Coast thing). This is especially true for Southern springs and summers, when the rain is very sporadic and unpredictable.

They better send it with a warning or else I'll come to America, get moderate whiplash at my leisure (probably while fishing), and then sue them for damages. This is my big ticket into the land of the free baby I can feel it.
