Drive up and down the Rockies for a month with her.
They are a great way to make sure all wildlife you'd otherwise see up close on your hike stays way the fuck away from you, and a good way to piss off or scare random hikers who have no idea if your dog will bite them or not when they come barrelling over while out of sight from you. I'm sick of all the "hidden" shit bags on my local walks and fed up that a local sensitive bird area is frequented by dog walkers in the morning.
I love dogs and if yours is well behaved and heels it's fine. The problem is dog owners.
