Have you ever touched an exposed light sensor?

What does it feel like?

How do you fix and/or clean a light sensor you fucked up by touching it?

OP here. Now, I feel like I'll never get an appropriate response, because I realized I should've written "-that got fucked up by touching it" :(

The thing you touch with your grubby little nigger grabbers isn't actually the sensor, it's a layer of glass on top to protect it. You can still scratch this glass and fuck up the images that your sensor produces, however the actual photosites are not damaged. If your sensor has a fingerprint on it, you can just use a sensor cleaning kit, which is like a little squeegee the same size as your sensor.

You'll know you're doing it right when you hear it start moaning. When you're done, just wash with soap and warm water

I usually scrub and wash the camera and sensor twice a season
