McDonalds prices are going to keep going up until the company crashes and burns, for whatever reason they got it into their head that they can price food higher than sit down diners and people will just keep buying. They are fully committed to this logic even though their sales have been in a deathspiral at this point.

Unfortunately this works.
People have zero idea how many mindless normies make it a habit/routine to always get McDonalds or other slop and they will not deviate for any reason.

If you can actually see that prices are bad and make a choice to no longer eat there then congrats, your not an NPC, but the fucking scary thing is most people are exactly the opposite.
They will continue eating McDonald's, they don't know any different, they don't want to know any different and to be any different is an assault on their existence.

It's actually pretty sad how many live like this and how many are taken advantage.

It's hard to have faith when people are close to ruining themselves because they refuse to stop handing over their money to corporations that constantly screw them.

I'd like to believe people are just misguided in thinking that if they continue to be loyal that prices will lower but this has never happened.

God i hope not.

For me, IT Salary employee making 140k a year doing absolutely nothing, with a wife making 100k a year as a tattoo artist who reports $0 in earnings, we get by just fine. Our food budget monthly in 2016 was $500, and today in 2025 our monthly food budget is $700. It's hardly went up at all. Prices could go up and make us pay $1000 per month for our 3 meals a day, and it still wouldnt matter to us in the slightest. That's $30 per day for 3 nice meals, sign me up and ill be smiling :)

The reason i want prices to increase is because poor faggot liberals and nigger cant afford to eat nice things, instead they have to eat cheap dollar general slop that gives them diabetes and high cholesterol. When Lettuce is $9 a head yet a pack of hotdogs is $2.99, theyll be forced to settle with the glizzy. And since more poor people are democrats, this is exactly what i want.

Max out your EBT on 12 pounds of chicken and rice you faggot motherfuckers. Get a real job and maybe you'll stop fantasizing over UBI and no borders.

It explains why prices keep creeping up rather than lowering.

There is a core consumer base that is otherwise extremely reliable. Corporations accross a few industries have been abusing this for awhile.
They care less about the mindful consumer who will hop on and off being a customer depending on market conditions.
No they are betting on the people who don't ask questions and just buy, as long as they don't wavier they will continue with high prices.
Literally just look at Nintendo right now. All the talk about people not buying it disappeared the moment it was released even as they charge $10 for a tech demo and $80 for a years old games

Corporations know they have a group they can abuse.

All sectors used post-covid and ukraine war inflation as an excuse to jack up prices. But the car industry and the fast food industry especially took it to extremes. The car industry is getting annihilated because people just chose to run their current car until it disintegrates. Fast food though, profit is up. Selling burgers at 3X the price to a smaller number of very stupid people really is more profitable.

No. The value menu wars were at a loss and not meant to be sustainable, it was a game of chicken with competition, making it so that those who couldn't compete backed out and those that remained became bigger staples.

McDonalds just makes no sense in the era where sitdown resturants cost the same and have websites with easy takeout. I used to eat McDonalds multiple times a week. Now I can get a 6oz Sirloin meal from Outback for almost the same price, and I just walk in and pick it up from the bar faster than I can pick up something from McDonalds. Chilis is also a good option.

Did you know beaner farm workers make close to $20 an hour?
I didnโ€™t.
In some states itโ€™s even more.
Iโ€™ve spent the last 30 minutes reading about it. They even have their housing and transportation paid for as well. This whole time I thought they were making below minimum wage.
Pretty crazy shit.

>Farm labor costs have been increasing faster than nonfarm labor costs as settled US farm workers exit the farm workforce and many newcomers are H-2A workers who must be paid $19.97 and provided with housing and transportation. Growers are mechanizing, building housing for H-2A workers, and switching crops to cope with higher labor costs

They can but the reduction will be in ratio to having to pay more for your current loans.
Going from 6 to 1, means a 10,000 loan today would be a 60,000 loan in scaled cost. Good for people that don't owe any money, bad for everyone else.

>$10.99 for a 4-pack of burger patties
>$4.99 for a 10-pack of American cheese
You can make a much better tasting burger at home for a $4.49. It will taste much better, and you will feel better after eating it. You will feel fuller because of the quality of meat. You will feel less sluggish because you didn't use any vegetable oil to cook it.

It's not a food-price problem. McDonald's is just raising their prices.

My dad loved those cheap cheese burgers and fishing.... I missed all of that.
Some Ai to recreate those memories since we never took pictures because they were such a common things for us.
