If alien drones swarmed Earth and they invaded, how would you survive?

I had a dream last night I had boarded an airplane and was at the window seat towards the back. I was looking out the window when a massive cloud of alien drones descended and started swarming the airport and airplanes. They kind of looked like guilty spark from halo 3 but instead of silver and a blue light they were dark metal and had a red light in the center. They started breaking through the airplane I was in when I got on the ground under my seat and covered myself with a blanket. I woke up shortly after, I wonder if I would have survived that way?
