What is best way of tracking world news? I thought about configuring RSS feed but most things I received was just useless junk because I was subscribed to places like BBC or CNN. Reuters or other sources weren't that great either.

You can turn Twitter into your own private RSS feed. You can just follow news and government agencies. You don't have to post anything, you don't have to interact with anyone, and you don't have to see anyone's stupid replies unless you actually go into a Tweet to do so.

This is what I do. I follow all of the US military branches, all of the federal agencies, police and news from a few of the major cities, foreign news outlets like India Times or Daily China or whatever. Pretty solid news feed, never have to read anyone's stupid bullshit.

Maybe I will give it a try, thanks. I have to admit I find twitter to be rather confusing.

All it is is people make short posts, and people can reply to those short posts or repost (retweet) them. You fuck around with it for a little bit you'll catch on. It's not bad if you don't interact with trending shit, and you don't go into the replies sections. I go in for a few minutes to get all of my news for the day, and it's like an RSS feed. Tech news, military news, political news, crime. You craft your own feed.
