How do I make the most of getting VA disability? I never made a claim. I didn't even have a physical on the way out. I got out in 2020, I was in for 4 years. I have self harm scars from when I was depressed in the army and am thinking I can say I have PTSD from that when I look at them. I also am looking at sinusitis, shoulder pain, and back pain. well i dont know how difficult it will be if youre in the UK, but the VA does make it easy but you have to provide documentation as best you can. since it wasnt that long ago you should be able to find paperwork. the main thing is youll have to see a VA doc who will assess you and score you and then make a recommendation for a disability rating. if they give you a rating lower than you think you deserve, you can fight it but will definitely complicate the process
