The problem is that protests have become a paid service that parties and groups can employ to force favorable outcomes. The passing of a new law, the banning of this or that, "pressure" to force a politician to bow out of a race or their position, it's all become a fucking job like any other.
Somebody buys the pallets of bricks and delivers them ahead of 'protests', somebody pays for 500+ printed signs to get made and distributed, the money and organization is inarguable and I'd call it domestic terrorism by this point. I mean, if I funded 100+ people to mask up and destroy a few blocks of a city, I'd be a terrorist right? Particularly if the intent was to extract political concessions through the use of violence, terror and fear?
That's very criminal, isn't it? Why are we tolerating this blatant organized terror campaign and pretending that it's just "their right"?
