>>507100173>You know people will interpret that as "if they're near your car and you feel scared, run them over"Oh and i'm sure the protesters in question here just want him to sign a petition and take a pamphlet. It's a two way street with this, literally.
>>507105927>It isn't totally free license to run over people who are blocking the road in groupsWell it's a tough one to consider because on one hand, there are situations which have and will exist where it's entirely reasonably to make every attempt possible to flee a situation which a reasonable person would consider their life is in danger, and if in that situation the person attempting to flee happens to be in control of a 2,500 LB vehicle, well then it's shitty for the people forcing that person to flee, but on the other hand, the whole point of protesting is to cause a public nuisance and create obstacles and other obstructions to normal day to day business to force attention to the issues at hand, in essence, the protestors have a right to block roads and be annoying, but not to surround people and behave in a menacing manner, especially if they are armed.
Evaluating each incident on a case by case basis is going to be tedious and stupid and DeSantis is going to have a huge headache after all of this is said and done.
>You don't make tweets like this, you fix it quietly in the backend then humblebrag about how you saved some innocent automobile enjoyers just trying to commute and pay taxes from jail time. All it's going to do is just greenlight maniacal retards. Everybody knows the sane rational people stay the fuck home in this day and age
