You seek validation in ways your mom did.
You are overall more emotional in how you handle problems.
Your mom tends to have weird, "best friend" relationship with you, which can get to speaking to your mom about shit like sex in ways that are very unhealthy.
You rebel easier and more aggressively because you soon won't see your mom as a threat, unlike your dad who you tend to always perceive as having the ability to fuck you up.

It's interesting that most of my childhood friends were also raised by single moms. That normalized the situation for me but looking back on it, I can see that it was mostly due to married parents not wanting their kids hanging out with those of us who were the children of single moms. Even though my parents were married when I was born, I was still seen as a social contagion. And I really can't blame them. My mother filled my brain full of leftist, female POV shit that had man hatred at its core.
The telling thing is that we always lived in conservative areas. My leftist mother knew leftist areas were shitholes and didn't want to live in them either. So she at least got that part right, even while bad mouthing the community and its leaders for being conservative. The downside is that my siblings and I were taught conservative = bad, leftist = good, and it wasn't until we actually had first hand personal experience with leftists and leftist areas that we began to unlearn what we had been taught. It would have been better if we knew that from childhood instead of learning the hard way as young adults.

if you have a good mom, you dont even end up realizing anything is different until you start dating. Then once youre dating it becomes totally brutal. You realize that you're a mess with a bunch of defects that women can smell a thousand miles away. You end up having to reconstruct your entire self into a more manly version. Not true. If the mom is actually caring and has an adequate support structure from family and friends, then at worst you get a man who fails with women. But the worst case scenario otherwise is a degenrate criminal. 80% of men in prison grew up without a father. equal proportions of women who get pregnant young didnt have a father.
The father is way more important. That's why God is our Father.
Funny enough when a dad becomes Christian, as opposed to the mom, the likelihood of the rest of the family becoming Christian goes dramatically up!
