Both English and Spanish are related European languages.

We have natives larping as Hispanic. The people from Spain didn’t make me hate Spanish, it’s these larpers that don’t even try to learn English that did. White hispanics, the real true Hispanics, don’t even identify as that because these natives stole their identity. Instead they identify as white.

At my daughter's high school graduation, the left wing woke principal and School superintendent made a big deal of granting "certificates of bilingual" to all the spics, and half the graduation was in Spanish. Because the only honors the spics were gonna get was speaking Spicish.
I kept hoping that ICE would crash the graduation ceremony and drag the spics back to spic-land.

well considering how much latin both have taken over the centuries they're both pretty close to old classical latin
english took a lot through french
then all languages adopted some form of latin one way or another

latin was also the 2nd most learned language until the 1900s
you can even find old papers in latin written in google docs or some shit, pic rel

Because ugly. smelly, shitty brown people speak it.
