>>507121735its amino acids, maybe a little bit of sulfur is in there too. phosphate and potassium isnt in there very much. the haber bosch process is rather inefficient, they are even doing quite a lot of research and dev to replace the HBProcess. its only 20% efficient because you have to bring the gasses nitrogen and hydrogen up to 800°C, send it over a cat, and then cool it down until ammonia condenses. you have huge energylosses and the conversion (starting material/product ratio) is also rather low. using the hair that way would be quite sensible, and its a slow release fert, reducing environmental concerns like fertilizer run off into rivers and such. and we have to pay the parasites anyway, they might aswell work for it. i dont hink this would be a viable business model if it isnt state funded.
