>>507117818 (OP)1. To love of God is to keep His commandments (John 14:15). You can not love God and ignore His law. "Love" is not an emotional new-age feminine hippie thing. God defines true love, and God's love is his holy, faithful and righteous care for those who fear him, obey him and are in covenant with him, not blind, but discerning and truthful.
2. Our โneighborsโ in the biblical sense are first and foremost our own ethnic brothers and sisters - the children of Israel (Leviticus 19:18-19), i.e. those who come from the same lineage and belong to the covenant people of God. In modern times, this applies in particular to the European peoples, the descendants of the House of Israel and Judah, who are called back into the New Covenant through Jesus Christ.
A โneighborโ is someone who belongs to one's own clan, to one's own people and to the covenant with God - whether by birth or by conscious conversion to the God of Israel in Jesus Christ. Jesus did not abolish this concept, but deepened it spiritually: The true neighbor is the one who does what is right, lives in faith and in truth, especially among the โlost sheepโ of Israel.
