The wages given are generally based on the values brought in. If the wnba would suddenly stop tomorrow, the world would hardly notice. At this point, the Wnba does not provide a product that is financially viable without subsidies from the nba, and is only prevalent to a small portion of the populace. Caitlyn Clark is an outlier, but even then she would struggle to complete with a male middle school aged 1A baller.
