The way I see it is the data is only useful for critics. If you don't want the conversation jewed into endless pablum about "the numbers" you are smart to just keep it to yourself while your operation is in progress. We'll know how many are being deported the same way we knew how many were coming in. You'll see it in your daily life. Later on we can get data and count the numbers - for now they don't offer us anything important.
