Bernie cucked himself. He wasn't willing to die for it. Trump was. That's the difference between the two. They actually have a lot more in common on policy than people realize. It's the traditional early 20th century social safety net programs Trump is skeptical of. Beyond that they align on pretty much everything else when it comes to trade agreements, foreign labor and immigration abuse. Trumps problem is he trusts the people around him too much sometimes, and he's pushable. Personally of the opinion taking consensus and the points of views of those around you is important but when you set out on a particular course of action that you promise people you need to hold to it. He's struggling to do that in a lot of areas atm imo
