I know America is a land of the automobile, but why are burgers so unwilling to face the inevitable changes coming.

For example, picrel is pandering to American farmers and the gas jew. What Secretary Rollins doesn't say is that approximately 40% of corn grown in the US is used to produce ethanol.

Solar and EVs are not going away. Burgers risk being left behind while China surges ahead.

Not to mention the water shortages in areas where irrigation is used. why keep farming so much corn when 40% goes to ethanol? Those farms are depleting aquifers like the Ogallala (picrel). There's desert to build on, and there's land that should not be getting used as farmland to lessen the strain on water.

>Solar and EVs are not going away
I know this is difficult for Marxists to understand but people adopt technology that improves their lives as soon as they can afford it. Nobody is "resisting" anything, do you think the average person cant figure out if they can afford a solar power station on top of their house, or whether or not an EV will work in their lives?

People arent stupid, they will adopt the technology when it makes sense. Solar still isnt cost effective or viable for many different situations, including being in Canada. In the sun belt many people are adopting solar at current prices, especially in new custom home builds, in Canada where your panels dont produce jack shit for 6 months out of the year; not so much. People arent going to agree with some retarded analysis that claims they will recoup their investment in 27.3yrs or whatever because they know instinctively that the equipment wont last that long. Solar at grid scale is lame and gay, Nuclear is way more sensible for the majority of the grid. With solar used at the individual customer scale.

EVs have the same issues with cost and reliability. People will adopt EVs when it makes sense for them to, when they feel like the technology improves their lives. Right now EVs have a fuckton of problems, range, costs, depreciation, charging times, charging infrastructure, etc, etc, etc. The tech isnt ready for prime time yet, but when it is more and more people will buy it.

The government doesnt need to invest money into it, or force people to do it, when people are ready they will voluntarily switch. Just like every other technological innovation ever. Dumb Commie retard.

Stop coping chang. The fact that everyone itt disagrees with your takes is not some conspiracy against you. Its just objective fact. If solar was so good governments would be racing to adopt it en masse. No cabal of capitalist strawmen in your head could stop it. But they dont. Nobody cares about your dubious green cope data. Solar isnโ€™t efficient at scale. An individual can use some solar panels to offset some water heating costs in summer months and thats about it. Covering a million square miles of desert with solar panels is retarded and pointless for many reasons. If you haven't noticed elon is an impulsive sperg that blurts out all kinds of things he knows fuck all about when heโ€™s high.

Solar beyond Tropic of Cancer or Tropic of Capricorn doesn't make much sense. Solar as supplementary power supply is good, especially on a small scale up to village size. They'd get more advancement if they follow that route for research and experimentation.

Listen chang I know china has way to much product on its hands that it needs to move but nobody here is a decision maker. You aren't gonna change policy here. All you can do is make your case. You haven't. Why donโ€™t americans cover half the country in trash tier solar panels from china? Because they suck and solar is a meme like most green new scam tech. You might be able to run a desperately poor African country on solar energy. You cant run a country with energy needs like the US has on solar. Its just not an efficient enough power source.

All oil will be consumed whether even if no automobiles used it.

Most things made of plastic are oil based.
Nothing can replace jet fuel for flying fast.
Militaries will consume and run on oil until it ceases to exist because nothing else can power tanks, jets, ships, and other heavy military vehicles.
Oil comes out of the ground at relative low cost. Any other source of so many fuels and industrial chemicals would require more energy intensive synthesis of a variety of things. It will cost more money and energy to make things in other ways than to just pump free chemicals out of the ground.

So even if you eliminated all fuel using civilian vehicles all of the planet's oil will be used until it runs out. It would merely last a bit longer.

None of your cope posts addressed anything I posted wither. A map of areas where almost no corn at all is grown doesn't address a single issue regarding the failings of EVs or solar. You lost.

>The Ogallala Aquifer, the underground rock and sediment formation that spans eight states from South Dakota to the Texas Panhandle, is the only reliable water source for some parts of the region. But for decades, states have allowed farmers to overpump groundwater to irrigate corn and other crops that would otherwise struggle on the arid High Plains.

>Today, the aquifer supports 20% of the nationโ€™s wheat, corn, cotton and cattle production and represents 30% of all water used for irrigation in the United States.
