Personally, I think this is meant literally. One way the micronova could occur would be for dust to accumulate around the sun (I’m not versed in physics or the mechanisms of the coming catastrophe). So it could be literal.
Or it could reference Israel gorging itself on Gaza and the West Bank and destroying its capital on the international scene.
