i think there is a heirarchy of like nouns and disco and bowling are like end points in their respective chains. anime is higher up in its own chain, there are forms of anime that have become obsolete just like disco, and there are current era new forms of anime like tranime. i believe it is less likely for anime to stop existing because all of its child chainlinks would have to evaporate first without new ones being added.

It will outlast Disney's political globohomo animations by a thousand years because they're not obsessed with pushing extreme far-left narratives with garbage art. Anime and manga use high effort art and frequently explore complex philosophical issues, which is why it is popular. Disney, being fully captured by woke marxists, are unable to do either which is why it is going from flop to flop.
