Basically yeah. Universe is not a container, just a spread of matter, that should be common sense yet whole scientific community treats it being a container like a religion. The implications of it just being a spread of matter (which we know and see to be true, but scientists still say it's a container) are that space is unrelated, just pre-existing space which most likely exists infinitely in all directions. The implications from that are that spacetime is BS and time is also infinite. So then you have endless trillions of 'universes', in every direction you could go in, if you went far enough to reach them. Each collapsing in on itself only to be reborn, every 10 billion years or whatever. It's hard for life not to be infinite with such a humongous scale of existence. Where it gets interesting is that with sheer statistics it implies that we'll all be around again as lifeforms, over and over, infinitely. There's no basis to believe this is your first time as a living thing or the last, and from that you probably already lived near infinite lives as other things and will in the future too. Don't get me wrong it's not your typical 'reincarnation' in any spiritual or religious sense, it's just the sheer scale of existence. 'You' will be the conscious perceiver of another lifeform, over, and over, and over, for eternity. 'You' is cautious', it's not 'you' in almost any sense of the word but there is no better word than the same conscious perceiver of one and another lifeform other than to use 'you' which sort of pollutes the intent of the message. Oh and since we do not perceive time when we do not exist, "you" will be alive again near instantaneously, at least relative to your own perception. Even if trillions to the power of trillions of years passed in between, it's be like snapping your fingers in terms of how instant it'd be. Not perceiving time when you don't exist, after all.
