I bought the same headphones to replace it and the quality difference was immediate. Yes the new one was only €80 when the old one was €180, that is noticeable.
The cable broke within a week. Got it replaced under warranty. The replacement fell apart after a year, the muffs just sort of flaked all over the place and the cushion's glue broke.
I got another pair, thinking that it had something to do with me trying to clean the muffs by softly scrubbing the exfoliation off of it. Mind you, exfoliation wasn't even a problem on the first set.

I had hoped Beyer would be worthwhile, maybe AKG, maybe another brand, but no this fucking cunt of a market is going exactly the way of the tape deck and record player.
Quality products get replaced with cheap chinesium that nobody wants and sucks allround, brands die, and the only alternative left is cute hipstery boutique brands with no customer support, no service, an arrogant marketing approach (make audio great again), and subjectively shit audio because "flat frequency response is all you need and EQ to taste" pisses off the audiophile like cock disturbs a nun.
