Why isn't China doing anything about their birth rate crisis? Of course, we have the same crisis in the West, but we're limp wristed humanists. China is an authoritarian state with little regard for human rights, they welded doors to keep people inside their buildings during the pandemic for fucks sake. Why aren't they just forcing women to breed in camps or something?

everyone knows a below replacement birthrate is basically nation ending. western nations are explocitly suicidal but china is clewrly nationalistic and wants to "win" so why are they ignoring this?
