They are a big fish in a tiny pond. In the immediate region they are absolutely the big dog with the best military. Outside of that it’s pre 1970s shit with smatterings of semi modern equipment.
It’s easier for everyone to never escalate beyond small strikes, symbolic bullshit, and claims of fighting a war for survival.
