This one goes out to the guys we played video games with, or got to know on platforms that don't exist anymore. Online mates whose accounts went dark, who moved on, who you got to know, everyone you've ever met on a website who you had good times with, those who left you wonder where they went in life, all the people who you wish well and have next to no chance of ever seeing again-

This is political because male loneliness is a sociopolitical disaster that governments all over the world have spent taxpayer time and money on and addressed in various fashions and degrees of alarm. No committee or analyst could ever understand what it's like.
