>>507295846>Now do Caesar and Genghis KhanBoth self made and incredibly intelligent which was my point
Neither really put themselves in danger either, the most dangerous thing Cesar ever did was split off from most of his army to attempt to have a look around Britain, that didn’t end well
He never once fought from the frontlines, he was in danger several times because he worked on tight margins, his entire army being barely enough to win, or not enough, Cesar lost 3 battles in his life, 1 in Britain and 2 in Gaul, though he managed to escape in both cases and reunite his fleeing army
Not much is known about ghengis khan, the only source we have on his life are a Chinese book called the secret life of the mongols which may be completely made up as far as we know
Even in that book though he never did anything completely wreckleds unlike Alexander the Great (that one time he climbed on a castle alone without telling anyone, got shot and almost died being a good example lol, or that time he ran off in the desert on a chariot alone to track someone and also almost died )
