Literally learn any skill, buy some tools and just market it yourself. In uni, I was making $50/hr detailing car interiors by spending 3k on a professional steam cleaner and supplies. Made my money back in a few weeks.

Hell, get hired at a wagie job at minimum wage painting houses, cleaning, etc and learn all of the products, clients and procedures and just quit in a few weeks later. Paid training by the competition.

Businesses actively hint at the fact that some of their employee's might be illegal, and every application has sponsorship questions. Which makes you think that you're applying to a job that immigrants normally apply to.

Here are some key things I've noticed after recently being unemployed and looking for work
>There are many businesses aggressively underpaying their employee's, often times these are the same ones with immigrant sponsorship opportunities
>I'm talking $5 to $10 dollars less than they should be paying due to the number of people they convince to work for those wages anyway
>Anything low skilled is extremely difficult to get into because there are so many people that can do it and/or want to do it + immigrants
>In the past week I've applied to 20 or 30 low skill positions that I am overqualified for and I've had one job interview and not a peep back from the rest. This is across multiple job boards.
>Certain positions requesting qualifications and experience that you wont get unless you were hired already by someone else that are labeled "entry level"
>Entry level management positions that are neither entry level nor just management positions
>Sales and commissions based jobs that advertise a high pay but in reality you won't be making close to that if you're a beginner
>A cornucopia of jobs for industries that you probably didn't specialize in that you have to ignore, because you are legally required to have certain certifications or degrees for them to hire you in the first place

Narrows it down pretty bad. This is in a red state with a pretty decent economy in a major city.
