I don't think you can rely on those countries. they don't need the US to survive. our relationship with them is continuously incentiving them with investments and tech to beat out competing interest. without 3rd party involvement israel is done. they live in a tiny country and are in very unique circumstances. they're linked to us through that. without us they would not last through a windstorm let alone a missile barrage. the threat to size ratio makes them sort of like an American symbiont, providing unique strategic opportunities in return for safety and shelter.
