Sociopathy is objectively the best survival method in this society.
It's only ineffective if you're bad it and get killed or imprisoned.

So what's the point caring about anyone else?
If the goal of life is to survive and thrive, the person who is the most unbound by moral hangups is the best adapted.

Narcissists are actual scum when you have to deal with them, I mean actual people with clinical NPD. They will gaslight, backstab and hurt you. You can't deal with them in the long run. Multiple people in my family are. You need to realize that so you can recover and so you don't fall for their tricks anymore. I had a BPD girlfriend. She did a mega-split on me when I caught her in lie (she was probably cheating) and then she dumped me. That’s when some of her narcissistic traits came out the worst. Brutal words, an absolute lack of empathy towards my broken heart, then I heard that she was slandering and ridiculing me behind my back months later.

The strangest thing is that I still love her as much as I did before I caught her. I probably love her more now that I realize that she is sick (with BPD).
