>1.4 billion people
>Spends trillions in R&D every year
>Steal and copy every technology and IP that they can get their hands on
>Still cannot innovate and is 20-30 years behind the West and still India tier in terms of technology

Why can't China innovate? They are mogged by SK, Japan and Taiwan that have much better technology despite their economy and size difference. The West is still decades ahead in every field. They just cannot into technology for some reason.

Precisely. People thinking China is somehow a threat are retards paid by the CCP. We can practically ignore China. Iran and Russia are the real threat.

They produce half the research papers and patents in my domain (specific subfield in electronic engineering).
Granted, the raw number of papers and patents is a ridiculously bad metric to gauge any somewhat intellectual field but they do make a lot of it and there are lots of good things in there. They don't just produce things because of low labor costs and capital accumulation, they are strong or the strongest players in quite a few technology limited fields.

DJI is an example. Pretty much no competition, and tech that people can't reproduce. Stability and object avoidance especially.

time travel back to the the 1990s and teach kids STEM before they can walk. Or a total embargo on their products now.

It's still a lot for government self promotion shitposts. I doubt even our dear British state mandates such large quantities of fake pro-UK state shitposts (even divided by 20 for population scale, and it's unclear why it would scale with population).

>Or a total embargo on their products now.
Wouldn't work because half the world is really tired of US imperialism, and the Chinese versions are cheaper anyway.
>time travel back to the the 1990s and teach kids STEM before they can walk
That, plus not replacing our youth by third worlders. So basically it isn't happening.

they couldn't survive without US and five eyes buyers.
"
In 2024, US goods trade with China was an estimated $582.4 billion, with US exports to China at $143.5 billion and imports from China at $438.9 billion."
"For China, exports to the US constitute about 14.7% of their total exports"
