Best case scenario: your armed forces are hard locked at zero morale for the entire conflict because nobody wants to be there; going AWOL, defections, and fraggings are routine. Worst case scenario: same as the best case, but you now also have an active insurgency on your home soil from people deciding they'd rather die fighting their actual enemies at home rather then for Haliburton stock prices in europe.
